When I received naturalization applications for both my grandfathers (England), they were full of lovely genealogical information - where and when they were born, married, children's names and ages, where their wife was born, etc. etc. These applications were made in 1913 and 1930, so maybe there wasn't as much information included in 1811 but, for me, they were both treasure troves.
