Thanks for your posts. What I mean is, when my family arrived in the UK, they did not naturalise immediately and therefore were not on any register of any kind for years since they first arrived in the UK. With regards to Hannah the relative, yes her name is on the electoral registers from 1937, but it is her previous UK details (address etc) I am hoping to find, but it is possible she was not naturalised until the mid 1930s.
