Hi, At the time of my ancestor's marriage in the late 1800s, he had several older (unmarried) brothers, plus several younger unmarried half-brothers (his mother having re-married following his father's death). My question relates to the recording of brothers on a marriage authorisation certificate for the purpose of "yibum". Would younger half-brothers normally be recorded in such a situation?
