Hello all, I hope this makes it to the list! I'm trying to trace the numerous children of Nathaniel Solomon and Phoebe de Metz. I've confirmed Edward (1774-1855), married Rachel Joseph Saul (1776-1852) the St. Helena connection, married 3x on St. Helena Island Joseph (-1861) married Hannah Moss on St. Helena Island and in 1831 moved to Capetown Benjamin, married on St. Helena Island, and remarried in South Africa Lewis Gideon (abt 1789-1868, our ancestor, who dropped the Solomon surname) married Julia Magnus on St. Helena Island I'm now trying to confirm Lenie, who was Saul's favourite sister. Since most sources name Lenie as mother of the explorer/adventurer Nathaniel Isaacs (1808-1872), I obtained copy of his Will. In his Will Nathaniel refers to "my sister Hannah Scheversensky" (which should read Schwersensky). The BJ records give the parents of Hannah Schwersensky with Isaac Isaacs and Elizabeth Solomon. Since Hannah and Nathaniel were siblings, could Elizabeth equal Lenie? Regards, Sigi McMahon
