Hi Naomi, I am thinking that you are aware of the 1881 census record that gives Fanny's place of birth as Germany?. Hannah her mother is listed as being born Germany and Henry as Dobginski Poland. As it has the other children (Lewis, Joseph, Leah and Rachel) all born London, I would think this highly suggestive of the marriage taking place outside England (most probably Germany) and that the emigration occurring sometime between 1855 - 1861.
