Thanks to the posting of cemetery records by AJHS I was able to find the following on my Grandfather's cousin and family. Maurice Wand died age 47 Hebrew name Chaim Aury son of Abraham Moshe Wand buried Mt Gravatt in Brisbane, Queensland His father Abraham [Arthur] Moshe Wand died age 81 Son of Uri? English records show his father's name as Maurice Abraham birth 16-8-1894 in Edinburgh, Scotland died 1974 Family lived in Manchester and Salford, England Records show Maurice buried row 1 # 26 Sec. 4C Bessie Wand row 1 #6 age 69 [ husband, son and daughter-in-law in same stone #5] Abraham Moshe Wand row 1 [son and daughter-in-law same stone # 6 I know Abraham Moshe Wand had another son as my uncle visited them when he was stationed in Ausralia during WW11., while serving as an American soldier. Would there be newspaper articles on the above deaths and if so how could I obtain them? I would be interested in contacting any living relatives as we have unanswered family questions.
