Hello, Louise! Thank you for your email. I have only one named SUSSMAN in my wife's family tree: Noel SUSSMAN married Della BARNETT, the daughter of Bertie BARNETT and Lily SAFFER. (Bertie was a son of Lazarus BARNETT and Rachel ISAACS.) Everybody lived in Swansea, South Wales. They belonged to the Goat Street Synagogue. I was told that Della and Noel had two sons, names unknown. I have no birth dates for any of these people, except that Lazarus BARNETT lived from 1874-1954. That would put Della's birth probably in the 1920's or 1930's, and presumably Noel SUSSMAN was in the same generation. Any connection? Brian, I have picked up on the name SUSSMAN as my great grandmother Bertha GELBBERG married an Adolph SUSSMAN in London in 1878 but his address was 3 Danes Terrace, Lincoln. . His father Isaac SUSSMAN was put down as a Publican . I have searched the 1871 Census but found nothing on them, so maybe they were not in the country then. Do youhave any connection. Thank you for your answer. i dont think it is likely but am keeping it on record as there may have been brothers. Once I get the marriage application from the Beth Din, it might say who the brothers are and then I can contcat you.
