Little correction, Sherry. It was put off for Washington, DC. {:>) The conferences are sponsored by and large by the host JGS and it has been very difficult to get a JGS other than in the US to sponsor one. Even then, it's usually underwritten to some extent by the IAJGS. IAJGS would love to have more conferences in other countries and keep trying but it's a difficult task. The expense is huge and some JGS groups are too small to handle it. Jackye Sullins > I am disappointed that the supposed venue of Paris > (the one in France) was put back for Philly. I stand (or sit really) corrected! It's still very boring for those of us not in USA to have the conference there year on year. However, I appreciate it's not as straight-forward as it might appear.
