Hello kind people (yes, I'm asking for a favour) .. I've located the best candidates for the parents of Isaac/Charles LEWIS (believed to be LEVY): Abraham and Louisa LEVY who married in 1827. I selected them because: a) the age of their son Isaac (6 in 1851, 16 in 1861) matches the age of Isaac/Charles LEWIS (26 in 1871 and 36 in 1881) b) Louisa died in Dec 1877 and Isaac/Charles' son Lewis was born in May 1879 (2 years later) c) Abraham died in 1894 and Isaac/Charles' son Abraham was born in 1889 (5yrs _before_)* * I know that seems a bit early, but Isaac/Charles had already set a precedent when he named his first daughter: - mother-in-law Amelia died in 1878 and daughter Amelia was born 1877 (1yr _before_) - also father-in-law Barnet died in 1879 and son Barnet was born in 1880 (1 year later) I have a photo of their marriage entry from the Great Synagogue register and I'm wondering if someone could read the hebrew script for me.
