    3. In order to prevent any further misunderstandings of the few rules we have I am sending this reminder, before I remove the emergency moderation I imposed on Wednesday. We all make mistakes. Nobody's perfect. We do not expect people to be mistake-free. However, we expect people to obey the rules. 1. Messages to list: You can ONLY use plain text in messages to the list; please CAPITALISE surnames throughout but just use initial capitals for first names, places etc; sign your message with your name, city/town and county/country please. 2. Replying to messages: Make sure the subject line is still appropriate (if it isn't then change it); trim the original back so that we just see the pertinent parts (so we know what you are replying to) 3. Generally: When asking for something it's nice to be polite (please goes a long way); When you get replies then it is polite to acknowledge them and say thank you-the preferred method to do this is to thank people individually privately and/or post a general thank you on list People who fail to snip, send messages with Digest anything in the subject line, send in HTML or generally seem incapable of following basic list etiquette will be moved to moderation without notice. Everyone else is now released on their own recognisance. Best wishes Sherry
