If you have a street address try our Look Up Exchange (see www.british-jewry.org.uk then members' area) as we have someone willing to search for Welsh records. Passports spring to mind as a time when you were required to prove birth dates and places. I am not sure whether you had to actually prove births for naturalisations. I suspect you didn't.
