    3. I take it you mean marriage 308/61 on 30 Aug 1835? This is the only one I could find with the right couple, although I had to check all the Philip SOLOMON marriages before finding this one. The transcript (thanks Angela) says she was a widow, is that what the "unknown symbol" is? She was daughter if Aaron NUNES MARTINEZ.     3. thanks sherry, I was hoing to be able to find her first husband but the maiden name Nunes Martines does not help much as there seems to be very little on her family. I know from the one birth which I can trace (Welcome Solomon) b 29 dec 1878 that Hannah is listed only as Hannah Martin so name changes along the way seem to be one of the roots of the problem. I wonder if I could get the name of the first husband from the Ketubah .I habe not paid much attention to this in the past.Perhaps she was the wife of a relative of Philip's who died and the tradition of another brother Marrying her was done in this case? -again Many thanks for your help on this.
