Hi all, I've been trying for a long time on and off to find the grave of Judah George SOMERS. He died 2 Aug 1879, at 23 Grosvenor Road, Highbury, London. I've been searching the online JC archive, and have found the announcement of death (2 Aug 1879 edition) and thanks for condolences (following edition). How long after the death should I look for the stone setting announcement, if there is one? I haven't been able to find him on a direct search of Somers or Somer at that time but the scans around then do seem to be particularly poor quality. He was to have been a member of New Synagogue but I've drawn a blank searching the United Synagogue graves database. Thanks, Julie
