Hi David My great great great great great grandfather was Raphael Lazarus and the name is so rare that this is the first time I have seen a reference to a Raphael Lazarus born before 1800. I'm wondering if there's any chance your Raphael Lazarus is the same as mine. Mine was the father of Moses LAZARUS born 1801/2 who married Leah NATHAN in 1822 and Clara JOSEPH in 1828. If you think we may have the same Raphael Lazarus and any ideas how we might verify that, please let me know.
