Dear Sheila, Did a quick search of a free BirthsMarriages&Death site. They have a marriage of a William George Morton taking place in the 4th Quarter of 1845 at Shoreditch, vol 2, page 420. There are a number of choices for the partner (as that entry contains about 5 couples). However, I would plump for Sophia CUFFLEY as Sophia is close to Salome (which may have been a familar name, rather than the name she was given at birth). I hope that this helps. They went back to the UK and SALOME died in Briton Ferry and was buried in NEATH Glamorganshire, in 1851. Forgive me if this is a too awkward request but we have to try everything, don't we?
