    3. I am struggling to use spreadsheets. It seems that basic knowledge of how to use them is presumed to be embedded in a gene I am lacking. I am hoping someone with the gene will help me. If I am typing and editing text in a cell the first time I use it, I just click on the cell and start typing. If I want to go back to that cell after leaving it, that doesn't work. I click on the cell and then, wherever I put the cursor or whatever I try to do - backspace, delete a letter - the whole of the text in that cell is deleted and I have to start again from scratch. Very annoying !!!!!! What do I have to do to edit text in a cell ? Please help save what is left of the hair attached to my scalp. It is being pulled out in handfuls. 3. Hi Eve If you look at the top of the spreadsheet, in the area above the sheet itself, you should see an area which will display the text of each cell, every time you move to one. Suggest you edit your entry there, if you are having problems editing in the cell itself. hope that helps regards Kathy >From a slightly milder Glasgow (but still want a few more degrees!) -----Original Message----- From: british-jewry-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:british-jewry-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Eve Richardson Sent: 22 April 2008 19:34 To: british-jewry@rootsweb.com Subject: [BRITISH-JEWRY] Spreadsheet headache I am struggling to use spreadsheets.
