Thanks Sherry I read with interest an item in the Weekend Australian Magazine March 8-9 2008 entitled Rajzner's List. It refers to a book originally written in Yiddish by Rafael Rajzner after the Holocaust, entitled "The Annihilation of Bialystoker Jewry". The author was one of only 200 Bailystok Jews who lived through the Concentration Camps. In it are lists of people from the town, with an original population of 100,000, who died during those terrible years. It is about to be privately published in English due to the efforts of Harry Lew a descendant of one of the families from the town, who lives in Melbourne, Victoria.
