Am not sure if you are aware that a Harry Lew in Australia has had a book in Yiddish by Rafael Rajzner translated into English. It evidently gives an incredible account as to what happened to the jews in Bialystok Poland with hundreds of people named. Names I know that are mentioned include CHARNOWSKI, ELKES, ECKSTEIN, RUBINSTEIN, LEVINSON, NAJDUS, MAKOWSKI, KRAKOWSKI, JACOBSON, KAPLAN, ZABLUDOWSKY etc. I found out about it in the The Weekend Australian Magzine March 8-9 i2008 n a story by Fiona Harari.
