    3. Dear Friends I am anxious to help a good friend of mine in her efforts to trace an ancestor who was born in Paris in 1891. This person was Joephine BOUCHARD, who later married in London, we believe, and took the surname of CLEMENCE Several of the family lived in Chiswick, London around that time, but the records of her birth would be in France. Suggestions as to where to find the birth records in Paris will be much appreciated. Stan Rose. *************

    3. Stan, Paris birth (and marriage and death) records are at the national archives BUT they are arranged by arrondisement, so if you don't know which arrondisement you are talking about it makes it VERY hard. I am struggling to connect to Genami (seem to be struggling with a few sites at the moment). I was going to look and see if there were some BOUCHARDs in certain arrondisements or if they were well spread. Do you have anything, at all, to narrow the search down in any way? You could try the French SIG of Jewishgen for further advice.
