Finsbury is in the London Borough of Islington (was Middlesex) and Barnet is a town in Hertfordshire, now part of the sprawling London and is the London Borough of Barnet.     3. Thankyou all, Tracey's father is named on her marriage certificate as John Hackel (doesn't say deceased). She married in 1842 to Thomas Medd (son of Thomas Medd) I can't find her anywhere Tracey seems to be an unusual name for that era. Maureen
