Hi everyone, Does anyone know anything about the SOMAN family from Norwich? A relative of mine was Naomi MITCHEL b.1870 in America - her father was Noah Mitchel, mother Maria (unknown surname). She married Asher Emanuel Soman from Norwich UK. I have a hunch that he had a printing business up there, but also that the family was involved in shoe and boot making in Norwich on a large scale. They are also connected via Asher's mother to the SALKIND family and from his father to Rosetta SALOMAN. If anyone knows anything about these families, I would be most grateful to hear from you.
