Bob, you don't say what you have tried so far in order to find decendants. Have you checked Free BMD for all variants (don't trust their phonetic search entirely)? Then when you find people i.e. the Polly who married SALKIN in last qtr 1932 have you cross checked against the Jewish Chronicle on line to see if the marriage was announced and can confirm or disprove she was your Polly? I also always cross check with Free BMD to see if there were children and if so what their names were, because if you know the vital dates for Harris and Annie then finding a birth of a Harris or Annie SALKIN with mother SCHNEIDER just after the death of the grandparent would lead me to believe this might be the right family.
