Dear All Has anyone come across the Kurland Synagogue that was at 133 Cannon Street Road in the East End of London. It was not recommended for inclusion in the Federation's list of Synagogues as it had no accommodation for women, no fire exit and it was too small. http://www.stgite.org.uk/media/synagogues.html There is also a book that mentions it. I'm trying to work out the time frame for when it was at the address as a SPEILMAN family were living there in 1904. Surname has also shown as SPELMAN, SPIELMANN etc. I've a fair bit of info on them.
