FYI Sherry (Viersat, France) The following further announcement was issued by Hayden Burns, Assistant Archivist on 6 August: "The Isle of Anglesey Record Office will be closed to the public for two weeks, 6 - 17 September, 2010. This closure period is to allow for essential work to be carried out on the collections. The Record Office will re-open on Monday September 20, 2010. All enquiries received by the Record Office during the closure period will be dealt with as normal. "Following re-opening, the Record Office will operate a booking system. Users will be required to book a place in the search room in advance of their visit. Bookings can be made in person, by email, telephone or letter. Please be advised that a booking is required for each person wishing to use the service. "Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience this may cause."
