It shows that he was born on 25th February 1883 and that his father was Barnett RUBENSTEIN, a tailor, and his mother was Sophia RUBENSTEIN formerly ABRAHAMS. I wonder whether using the expression 'formerly' rather than just ABRAHAMS meant that she was born STRAUSS and was previously married. I will explore the DANIEL leads, though I thought that I had visited Sheila in 1970, but of course 40 years on and my mind may be playing games on me. I plead ignorance of Ken Gompertz.
