    3. Robyn, was the father, Lazarus Israel ADELSTONE, with the rest of the family on their voyage to Australia in 1906? There was a death for Lazarus Adelstone, b. about 1862, d. Dec. 1901 in Birmingham, Warwickshire. James Adelstone lived in Sydney from 1890 on. An S. Adelstone lived in Roundhay, Lancashire, Eng. in 1932. [probably Samuel. His father was Henry.] Alfred, Arthur and Claude Adelstone were in the British Army in WWI and received medals. Harold enlisted in the British Army in 1915 and was wounded on his scalp in 1916. He deserted in 1917. He lived at 35 Stanford St., Leeds, West Yorkshire when he enlisted. The son, Israel Adelstone was b. in 1889 in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, England. In the 1891 Census he was listed as one year old. A niece of Lazarus, Rebecca Bluestone, age 7, lived with them. Israel Arthur Adelson married __ in South Australia, between 1917-1920. Israel Adelstone, b. 1884, sailed 12 March 1923, with Mrs. Edith Adelstone, b. 1888, NBS [Naturalised British Subjects?], from Capetown to London, c/o Mr. P. Adelson, Royal Dental Hospital, London W. Israel was a Baker; Edith was a Housewife. They lived permanently in Transvaal. Israel sailed from Durban or Capetown, South Africa to Southampton, Eng. again 24 Mar. 1939. He was to stay at the Cumberland Hotel, London. He was 56, a Baker from South Africa. An Israel Adelstein married Annie Silverstein in London, Middlesex, Mar. 1912. Might be a cousin.
