Hi Sheery, and everyone else who has replied to my post. I had already done every search option that I could think of and have just re-run them again following your instructions. Unfortunately, I am not getting any of the 7 "Berlyn" names that I previously obtained from Old Witton (I do have a hard-copy printout so I know that I'm not imagining them!) The spelling variation that appears is 'Berlin' and this is not the same family. I've also tried the soundex search and one covering all England rather than just Birmingham. This gives every similar sounding variant, plus a couple of London Berlyn's that I hadn't come across before, but it would appear that this little batch of 7 records has vanished into the ether - a pity as they were great photos. Any other suggestions?
