Help! - about a year ago I pulled some headstone images off the JCR-UK website for various members of my Birmingham Berlyn family including the one for my great, great grandmother Catherine Berlyn who died in 1875. These headstones are all in the Old Witton Cemetery. Unfortunately, I did not record the exact web link and these records seem to have disappeared as I can no longer find them when I do the usual jewishgen database searches. I have the image saved but want the exact www. address for my records. I'm usually really good at keeping these but this is one I missed . Caroline, we've been noticing problems with JewishGen's UK databases. Some of it seems jumbled up now. This could cause serious problems. People could be translating the wrong headstone images. Wrong fathers could be listed. How can we rely on their UK data? Hi Caroline, Go to http://www.jewishgen.org/databases/uk/ use the RH search (JGSGB) then on the results page click to see the results of burials and then on the "view record" link (far right) next to the person and then click the small image at the bottom and that should take you to the big image and a precise URL you can use as a source. If that doesn't work you MIGHT be able to find the URL you need by editing another one.
