Danielle Sanderson was asking for more ways of researching Joseph Joseph, who she knows was a pencil maker at 18 St Martin's Court, circa 1805 (Holden). A search of Myer Solomon's circumcision record for 1804, when she knows his son Henry was born, yielded: (record) 140 On Wednesday 19 MarHeshvan '565 I circumcised Zvi Hirsh b Joseph {St Martins Court; 24 Oct 1804} So even though we only have the first name of the dad, we have the address (St Martin's Court) and Zvi hersh = Henry. It's him. Now, if you can't sleep, you can look for other sons of a Joseph within maybe a ten year span in either direction and try to pin it down by addresses... Carolyn Hahn, NYC Should go to sleep, but researching other people's family members because, to paraphrase George Mallory, they're there (or they're not exactly in sight yet, but we WILL find them)
