Hello. I'm try to trace on various census Lobie Annie ISAACS. She was born about 1874, daughter of Rosetta [1848] and Samuel ISAACS [abt 1848]. Her siblings are Maurice 1876, Isaac 1878, and Jane 1881. All were born in the Spitalfields area. I have no idea what the name 'Lobie' is short for and would like to know. There is a possibility the family went abroad at some point, as when Jane ISAACS, grandmother [1816] died in 1893, notices were in the Jewish Chronicle [May 12th], with the note, American and Colonial papers please copy.
