One more “wall” Fanny Schneider born 1878 appears on the 1891 UK census (mis-spelled as Snider) She does not appear on either the 1901 or 1911 census although all of the other members of her family do appear. I find no death record for her during that time period. I am also unable to find a marriage for her. I know there is one listed for 1895 but I pulled the certificate and it is not her. When her mother died in 1932, the headstone mentions only one surviving daughter which I know to be Polly. I am looking for ideas on how/where to find the death record. I've heard that some religious Jews hold a funeral for a child who marries a non-Jew. Would those folks state their child was actually dead for the Census record? Fanny may have died 1891-1901. Were all deaths recorded in London between 1875-1900? Was there a rule about recording babies who died? Did they have to be more than a day old, or some such parameter? Linda Wolfe Kelley California
