Hello: I'm researching a woman who was born Hannah Goldman in the Tottenham area. Her father was Jack Goldman, and she was probably born 1920-1930, thats just a guess. She later married a man named Mr. Lewis. If anyone has information on this woman I would love to hear from you. Thank you. Brian
Around Feb. 2009, someone posted a link to a very early, possibly 1890s, trade directory for Yorkshire, including Leeds. It was beautifully digitized, and we could click to turn the pages. Could you please resend the link to this wonderful old directory? I'm looking for a listing of the Rabbis in Leeds around 1890-1910. Thank you!! Linda Wolfe Kelley California
Is this the one you mean................? Even if it is not, it may still be of interest. http://www.archive.org/stream/commercialdirect00harfiala#page/n3/mode/2up Susanne Barton (Canada) > Around Feb. 2009, someone posted a link to a very early, possibly > 1890s, trade directory for Yorkshire, including Leeds. > It was beautifully digitized, and we could click to turn the pages. > Could you please resend the link to this wonderful old directory? > I'm looking for a listing of the Rabbis in Leeds around 1890-1910. > >
