    1. Re: [BRITISH-JEWRY] Which databases to use?
    2. Hi bob, I have found both sites to be useful in different ways. Specifically, FMP includes the 1911 census, which A does not. It also has military records that are not on A - I have only one half Jewish ancestry and the other Anglo-Irish, so I don't use it exclusively for the Jewish side. However, A has a large number of family trees on it and various people have contacted me through that to give me information I couldn't have found through normal searches. The National Archives also have things such as naturalisation documents available to search free of charge, but you have to pay to receive documents with the details. Good luck with the search, Naomi in Edinburgh -----Original Message----- From: Bob Moss <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Fri, 1 Oct 2010 18:34 Subject: [BRITISH-JEWRY] Which databases to use? For searching British records and tracing people is there any significant difference between what is available on ancestry.co.uk and findmypapst.co.uk? I have been using ancestry but have hit the proverbial brick wall and am looking for some new streams to follow. Bob Moss Chicago, IL.
