Gila also saw that it says Akiva for Jane/Fanny's father. The info on line says Reva, and I had an aunty with that name which made me wonder if it was correct. Hi Naomi, Could the word be 'stranger' rather than foreigner, refering to the individual not being a member of the Synagogue. Similar to entries on a burial record?
