The new site CumbriaBMD is based on the well-proven software which already supports CheshireBMD, LancashireBMD and seven other county-based sites. The initial data load consists of 418,648 records which provide indexes to the Barrow-in-Furness District registers for: Births 1837-2009 Deaths 1837-2006 Marriages 1837-1900 It is expected that the coverage of marriages will be extended to 2009 within the next few days. Indexes for other districts will be added as these become available.
