    3. Hello Bryan Could it be that your uncle was blind? It was/is common for blind people to be piano tuners as they have such a good ear.     3. Naomi Ogin thanks for "Could it be that your uncle was blind? It was/is common for blind people to be piano tuners" but he certainly was not blind, after NZ he went to Melbourne, 1914 joined the AIF, his enlistment records him as piano tuner, awarded DCM, became a Lt, I have published his military career,. but his earlier life I do not know much about., nor do his descendants.
