    3. Dear Overworked in Oxford, Sherry, just dipping my toe in the water. I am already a webmaster, for the Friends of Bristol City Museum and therefore I must have some of the skills you require. However, one needs to be a bit more specific. My website has been created using WordPress and they make updating rather easy to the extent that a knowledge of HTML is not necessary. An editor is provided and text can be manipulated in plain English. I have some small ability with HTML but it's hard to say whether or not it would be sufficient. I am 86 years old and have the necessary time, but you might be wise to seek a backup. If my offer seems tempting, please reply giving a little more detail on the precise nature of the British-Jewry website. I've had a quick look at your site and its very impressive. Did you write all the HTML code yourself? I cheated in that we paid a professional, who incidentally remains our host, to do the initial design and he then handed it over to me to do the maintenance bit. Brian Joseph, Bristol
