I have ancestors in both Northamptonshire and Warwickshire areas by the name(s) of Amos CARDWELL. I s anyone familiar with this surname in these areas, or even other areas?? Earliest known ancestor, (late 1790's or early 1800's) may have been McCardwell, but I know nothing of his origins. I would really appreciate any bit of information. Amy Bodily
