Maureen, When you refer to BVR I am assuming you are meaning the LDS British Vital Records. That CD is only a small portion of what is available (same as the IGI) for parish records cotaing Births, Marriages and Deaths. I would find out which parish the SCUTTS are living in while in Fife and order parish registrers and Bishop's Transcripts of that parish on microfilm from your local LDS Family History Center.
