Is anyone researching any of the above names in N.E. England. My RENNEY family is from the Sunderland, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough areas of County Durham. Have traced this family back to 1675 and am still looking for more connections. Am particularly interested in Henry RENNEY who was born on Sept. 19 -1819. at Sunderland and christened at Holy Trinity Church, on Oct. 13 -1819. he married Elizabeth DODDS at Sunderland on August 25 -1839. Henry was a Master Builder and am told he built some large buildings at Durham City which are still in use today, and there is a street named after him. They are my Gr. Grandparents and they had , Charles Henry RENNEY born in 1846, who was also a Builder, and Frederick RENNEY born in 1857,my Grandfather, who was a Plumber and Fitter in Bishopwearmouth and later in Stranton , West Hartlepool. Believe they had more children and would like to discover more info. on this family. Also seeking info. on :- Robert LAIDLER who married Florence RENNEY of Stranton, West Hartlepool, about 1898. Ida Victoria WINDROSS who married John W. RENNEY of Stranton ,about 1915 ? Edna Eileen SHAW who married Burton RENNEY of Stranton, about 1918 ?
