My Father was Charles Frederick RENNEY, born in 1880, at Bishopwearmouth but raised at Stranton, West Hartlepool. He had nine brothers and sisters, and his parents were, Frederick and Elizabeth [SMITH] RENNEY.They lived at 5, Thompson Street, Stranton, for many years, and attended All Saints Church, Stranton. Frederick RENNEY, was born in 1856, and was a Plumber and Gas fitter, and he had a brother, Charles Henry RENNEY, who was born in 1846, and was a Master Builder. They probably had more brothers and sisters, but that is all I have so far. Their parents were Henry RENNEY, born in 1819, at Sunderland, and Elizabeth DODDS.They married at Sunderland. Henry RENNEY was also believed to be a Builder. Henry RENNEY's parents were Joseph RENNEY, born 1792, at Sunderland, and Elizabeth DITCHBURN, also of Sunderland.? Have traced the Family back through Durham City and Gateshead to Killan, Angus, Scotland in 1675, if you are a member or recognise any of these names from the past, this is also my Family.
