This is the exact info that I have as given to me by a lister in Newfoundland. Charles KALOWAY of Cape Island was born at Poole, Dorset?, England. He married Isabelle SPARKES of Cape Island on August 25, 1834 at Greenspond Parish, Greenspond, NF(VS VOL.78A) and they had three children. VS VOL.76 George KELLOWAY was born Aug.9,1836 at Swains Island, BB, Nfld Charles KALLOWAY was born Aug.25,1838 at Fool's Island, Nfld James CALLOWAY was born Aug.25,1838 at Fool's Island, Nfld. I need a little help trying to find out when Charles Sr. was born. I'm figuring that he was born around 1814. That would make him about 20 when he got married...but I don't know if he was married before and had a family or if this was his first marriage. Can anyone help?? Please?
