I am a newcomer to genealogy and as a starting point am trying to gather information on my paternal grandparents Frank Edward Hickin and Catherine Henrietta Hickin (nee Clark) of 17 Tower Street (now Martello Street) Hackney, London. All I know is that they were living at that address in 1919 when my father was born. My father was one of 13 children. In fact any information at all about the Hickin family in Hackney around the time of the first World War would be really appreciated.
