Greetings ALL I am new to this list and looking for information on Dan RAWLINS July 23, 1828 Sculcoates, County of York England married Elizabeth TERRY August 05, 1855 St. George's In The East, London, Middlesex Co. England. Dan RAWLINS son of James and Sarah DUMBLETON and was a Merchant Seaman who apparently drowned either while at sea or had fallen from the gang plank between two docked ships while intoxicated from alcohol. He died sometime between 1864 and 1865 as Elizabeth (widow) married Robert Proctor October 16, 1865 in Kingston-Upon-Hull, County of York. Dan was on the CONSTANTIA for top gallant yard on the 23rd day of July. Dan fell from the rigging in 1845. Dan was shipwrecked GIPSY BRIGG on the 2nd day of Jan 1847 of Portsmouth landed in Haling Poland.
