One more try:- Has anyone any knowledge of the Frederick RENNEY and Elizabeth [ SMITH] RENNEY family who lived at 16, Maple Street, Bishopwearmouth, from 1878 till 1887, then moved to 5, Thompson Street, Stranton, West Hartlepool. Frederick was a Plumber and Gas Fitter. They raised a family of ten children at the Stranton address and they all attended All Saints Church, Stranton. What has happened to the surviving members of this Family? My Dad was one of their ten children. All the info. I have on the children is below :- !. Florence Gertrude RENNEY born 1879. She married Robert LAIDLER and they had, Phyllis LAIDLER, born 1898, and Charles Frederick LAIDLER, born 1901.They lived at 6, Thompson Street, Stranton. Possibly more children. 2. Charles Frederick RENNEY born in 1880. HE WAS MY FATHER. He had 2 children at Aldershot, Hants.in the 1920s. and 4 children in South Africa , from a previous marriage. 3. Victor RENNEY, born 1884. He married an Ellen ? and they had Joseph Oswald RENNEY, born 1914, and Wilfred RENNEY, born 1917. Possibly more children. 4. John William RENNEY, born 1886. He married Ida Victoria WINDROSS, and they had Edna May RENNEY , born 1917. Possibly more children. 5. Elizabeth Margaret RENNEY, born 1888. Marriage unknown. 6. Eva RENNEY, born 1890. Marriage unknown. 7. Albert Edward RENNEY, born 1892. Marriage unknown. 8. Alfred Henry RENNEY, born 1894. Marriage unknown. 9. Christopher RENNEY, born 1895. Marriage unknown. 10. Burton RENNEY, born 1897. Married Edna Eileen SHAW. Children unknown. Does anyone know where the above peoples survivors are ? There do not appear to be any RENNEY in the Stranton area now and I don't know who most of the girls married, so I am stuck and frustrated. Surely my sister and myself are not the only ones still around. They would probably be interested to know that I have traced this family back to 1675, and hopefully still going back further.
