INTERESTS: RELATIVELY OBSCURE NAME "MALLENBY" HI, I am doing my family tree and I am looking for anyone with the exact spelling of the name MALLENBY anywhere in the U.K. It is not that common. In fact there are apparently only 9 MALLENBY names in the current voters registration in the U.K. and they are all in the Newcastle area. I am aware of these MALLENBY folks. What I am looking for are other current or previous listings of anyone with the name MALLENBY in the U.K. Possibly, in any previous Census Searches, Birth-Death-Marriage Searches, Previous Voter Registration Searches, etc. coming up with the name MALLENBY and whatever other details that may come to mind. Any photo copies of any such listings would also be appreciated. If you see any connection to the MELLANBY name that would also be appreciated. What I surmise is that the MALLENBY name stems from the MELLANBY name due to an error of inscription at time of birth or the like.
