Does any kind soul out there have sympathy for a soul with a dead end? Searching for my Landon roots especially in the London area - Vauxhall in particular - I have an address of Grove Green Road but am told this no longer exists. I know they were licensed victuallers in this area during the 1900s. Also, does anyone know where I can get a list of owners/managers of The World's End public house in Ecton, Northampton? The brewery cannot help me.

..... is swiftly becoming "come on out when you can." We now have a Web site, chat room, and message board. All of which is listed after my name below. Everyone is welcome. Please introduce yourself and what your location is. We are calling for volunteers. The cemeteries that are to be transcribed will not be used for financial gain but will be put onto the web for everyone's use. If you already have a cemetery transcribed we would love to have it. The old stones and cemeteries are swiftly deteriorating and being destroyed by hoodlums. We need to record this information. Some Historical Societies are collecting the information to turn into CD's to sell for funds and that's OK too as long as they truly are legit. We will be happy to donate a copy of what we find to them. But I know places where the work has been done and has never been published. So whether you live in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Clearfield Co. Penn, or the Ozarks, this is a world wide problem that needs some action. Sincerely, Renee L.
