Hello to all on the list, I am researching the HART line which is one of my ancestors. Currently I only have the names of Sarah Ann HART born October 1 1832 in Kessingland, near Lowestoft. Sarah's fathers name was George HART. Sarah was a dress maker and she moved to Harlestone in Norfolk where she met her husband William BARBER born October 2 1834 in Harlestone and they were both wed in the Parish of Lee in the county of Kent on November 7 1853. Both emigrated to Brisbane Australia residing at Ipswich where their daughter Anna Pauline married William TYLER on October 19 1889. A witness on this marriage certificate shows a brother to Anna Pauline as Frank Burton BARBER. If anyone has information relating to the HART line IT would be greatly appreciated. Look forward to a reply, Regards, Peter F Fahey
Hi fellow researchers, I am researching the name of TYLER a family from Wellingore, Lincolnshire. The names I have are of the parents of my great grandfather, who were Robert TYLER and Mary WINGATE who had a farm in the village of Wellingore. As far as I know my great grand father was William TYLER born August 1 1860. He also had a brother called Joseph. William emigrated to Brisbane Australia in 1885. If anyone has or know of any information about the TYLER line it would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to your reply. Regards, Peter F Fahey Brisbane
Dear fellow listers, I am tracing my family history in Australia and I have discovered that Private Andrew Fishburn/Fishbourn/e 35th (Portsmouth) Company under the command of Captain John Shea set sail for Australia in 1788 on the Alexander or Friendship (depending on which book you read). He married Sarah DONNELLY 24 May 1795 and had 2 sons Andrew (b. 24.8.1793) and WILLIAM (my line b.6.9.1795). I am led to believe that Andrew was linked to the Ship builders Fishburn and Broderick in Whitby England. Information I have states that Andrew was a carpenter and he received extra pay for this. He built a number of dwellings in Sydney Cove and Norfolk Island. Additionally he also did maintenance on the convict ship Gorgon. Any information relating to Andrew and his family or interested people researching the same line, I would love to hear from. Regards, Peter F Fahey Brisbane
Hi to everyone on the list, I am researching the FULLER name which is the line on my Grandmother's maiden name. So far I have traced the name back to a William Fuller who was born circa 1774 in Surrey in England. He was sentenced in March 1790 at Kingston on Thames to 7 years and transported to Australia on the Admiral Barrington arriving on 13 October 1791. He married Mary Ann BOXLEY 13 October 1817 at St. Peters Richmond. They had six children:- William, John (my line), Mary Ann, Samuel, Ann and George. I have no information on William's birth or parents and I am wondering if anyone is linked or have come across the name. I look forward to your reply. Regards, Peter F Fahey Brisbane
