Hi Judy, In my previous message I mentioned that Joseph HILL, brick and tile maker, was made a Bristol Burgess on 2nd. June 1823. His qualification to be made a Bristol Burgess was through his marriage to Elizabeth, daughter of Benjamin WATERS, wine hooper, who was a Bristol Burgess. Benjamin WATERS, wine hooper, was made a Bristol Burgess on 7th. April 1784. His qualification to be made a Bristol Burgess was as apprentice of Charles WITHINGTON.
