    1. [B&S] 1881 census help
    2. Mike Matthews
    3. Hello, If anyone fancies a challenge, perhaps they could try looking for William Edward Andrews b 1862 Bristol and his sister Florence Rebecca Andrews b 1868 Bristol in the 1881 census, as I cannot find them. They are alive and well in 1871 and 1891, but no trace of them in 1881. William could've been in the army or at sea, but clearly that doesn't apply to Florence. Their widowed father Edward was visiting the Davis family in Elton Street in 1881.

    3. Hi Mike, Don't know whether you know this but there are a lot of Andrews living Dorstone, Herefordshire up until early 1800's. I believe some still lived there after that but it is possible that their siblings migrated to Bristol for work.
